Attended “Third World Congress on Leishmaniasis” held in Palermo-Terrasini, Sicily, Italy from 10-15 April 2005 and delivered a lecture on “A Phase III multicenter, Randomized, Controlled, Clinical trial to assess the safety and efficacy of injectable paromomycin in patients with visceral leishmaniasis: Paediatric subset analysis and preliminary final results”.

  2. WHO/ TDR sponsored Phase III Clinical drug trial of Miltefosine in VL patients (children).

  3. WHO/ TDR sponsored Phase IV Clinical drug trial of Miltefosine in VL patients.

  4. WHO/ One World Health/ Zentaris/ ICMR collaborative Phase III Clinical drug trials on Paromomycin in patients with VL.

  5. Management of Voluntary Counseling & Testing Centre at this Institute under Bihar States AIDS Control Society, Patna.

  6. Research on Clinical aspects of Kala-azar.

  7. Research on Kala-azar co-infection with different other diseases like HIV, Tuberculosis.
