We have characterized and demonstrated function roles, cellular localization of Fe-S clusters assembly in amoeba first time.

Biochemical and functional analysis of Sulfur containing amino acid metabolic pathways in E. histolytica and developed some anti-amoebic compounds.

We have biochemically characterized iron sulfur clusters (ISC) assembly in Leishmania parasites first time.

We have expressed & purified several proteins of L.donovani from thiol-metabolism lacks in human which may provide inside to develop chemotherapeutic against leishmaniasis.
